Information You Send Directly
Search-form entries such as a name, phone number, or address are handled by the provider that supplies the result function; our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the information you include, and we use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services retain ordinary logs, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregated data helps maintain the service and understand traffic. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
That limited data is used to operate and improve the service, diagnose faults, and measure traffic. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of data a website keeps. Ohio research did not identify a single general statewide deletion right or data-broker registry. Because this service retains little data, a request usually concerns the contact mailbox or available server logs. Use the Contact page. Public records held by Ohio, Hamilton County, or city custodians are outside our control and must be addressed to the office that maintains them.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
